I am Angie Eberspacher. I’m excited to run for the Nebraska State Board of Education and to hear from voters across District 5 about their vision for our schools. I’m running to support Nebraska’s students, teachers, and parents—and to strengthen our education system with a focus on what matters most.
Learning is a lifelong process, and it begins with a solid foundation in reading, comprehension, and critical thinking. Knowing how to find information, think critically, and solve problems are essential skills for success—and these start with a strong emphasis on core academics.
Throughout this campaign, I’ll be listening to your concerns and focusing on key priorities: improving literacy and proficiency scores, recruiting and retaining high-quality teachers, and restoring academic fundamentals in our classrooms.
With dual degrees in elementary and early childhood education, classroom teaching experience, and service as chair of the Educational Service Unit 6 Board, I understand the demands educators face and the importance of strong, values-driven leadership. I’m committed to being a voice for parents and a supporter of quality education for all students.
It would be an honor to serve as your representative on the State Board, bringing integrity and experience to every decision as I work to ensure that the children in Nebraska have the opportunities they need to succeed.

As a lifelong resident of the district and a committed educator, Angie understands the values, challenges, and priorities of the families and schools throughout these communities.
District 5 includes the following counties in Nebraska:
Butler, Clay, Fillmore, Franklin, Gage, Hamilton, Jefferson, Lancaster (south of Nebraska Parkway in Lincoln and rural areas of the county), Nuckolls, Pawnee, Polk, Richardson, Saline, Saunders, Seward, Thayer, Webster, and York.
